At Clearsmile, Dr. Messer and his team provides an exclusively Invisalign experience to help people achieve the smile they want in a safe and accessible way in a non-traditional practice setting for all ages and lifestyles. Dr. Messer shares his passion with each and every patient to make them find confidence and fall in love with their smile.
Get to Know Dr. Messer
With the growing popularity of clear aligners, Dr. Messer had noticed time and time again the poor outcomes for patients who used do-it-yourself and at home clear aligner solutions. As a former Invisalign patient himself, Dr. Messer truly believes in the power of the Invisalign technology and created Clearsmile to help others see that not all clear aligners are created equal.
Philip Messer, DDS, FAGD
A New Jersey native, Dr. Messer grew up in East Brunswick, NJ. He graduated at the top of his class from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Economics before continuing on at the University of Maryland Dental School.
After graduation, Dr. Messer moved back to his home state of New Jersey to complete a General Practice Residency program at Morristown Medical Center where he gained more experience in all facets of dentistry. Dedicated to his practice, Dr. Messer was one of the youngest doctors on record to be awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Messer prides himself on his personalized care and works with each patient to determine the best treatment plan to meet their unique goals.
In his free time, Dr. Messer enjoys golf, traveling and spending time with his wife Melissa, son Jordy and fur baby Crosby.
Located at 506 North Avenue in Garwood, NJ., Clearsmile is in the Lofts at Garwood, between Juice House and OrangeTheory Fitness. There is plenty of free parking located directly behind the building.
